Chateau Mezain is made by a farther and daughter team in the rolling countryside that is 'Entre deux Mers'. The Family Despagne run two vineyards near the small hill-top village of Saint Larent du Bois. With just 200 inhabitants the village is dominated by the Roman Church which looks out to the Garonne river in the valley to the south.
Although the Chateau are of the general 'Bordeaux' appellation, Chateau Mezain is situated in the small domain of 'Côtes de Bordeaux - St. Macaire'. Chateau Mazain produces both whites and Red and has won a Gold Medal in Paris for it's white.
